This July, Dr. Bryan King traveled to Las Vegas to get the inside scoop on Invisalign’s ever-changing technology at the 2026 Invisalign® Ortho Summit! This summit focused on expert-led educational sessions, hands-on experiences, and recognizing empowering achievements.

Dr. King was presented with a Lifetime Achievement award for more than 9,000 patients treated with Invisalign®, putting King Orthodontics among the top 1% of Invisalign® providers. When reflecting on this achievement, Dr. King said, “This milestone wouldn’t be possible without our entire King Orthodontics team and the families we serve. We may have transformed over 9,000 smiles, but it’s safe to say that those smiles have transformed us, too.
AI is transforming the game for the orthodontic industry. Dr. King experienced this first hand in the summit’s Innovation Hub, where he gained hands-on exposure to Invisalign’s newest advancements.
One thing in particular that caught Dr. King’s eye was their use of facial recognition technology. In fact, he was so enthused by it that he’s bringing it to King Orthodontics! The practice will be among the first in the Greater Pittsburgh Area to use the latest version of the Invisalign® Outcome Simulator Pro, giving patients a glimpse into what their post-treatment smile may look like! These realistic video simulations use a short recording to show your potential new smile side-by-side with your current one. You will see your potential results within moments during your initial consultation, giving you a more comprehensive look at your future smile.

Another one of the summit’s featured developments that will become the ‘norm’ at King Orthodontics is Invisalign’s line of dental health products including whitening and new Cleaning Crystals+. These proprietary products are specially formulated for maintaining clean and clear aligners/retainers and helping to ensure a bright, healthy (and fresh smelling) smile during and after treatment. Invisalign® Cleaning Crystals+ and whitening will soon be available for purchase in both our Pittsburgh Area locations.
