Now that King Orthodontics has reopened, you may have questions about the precautions your Orthodontist is taking to keep you safe and healthy during your visit. While our appointment process may seem different, we have remained on the front lines to prevent the spread of COVID-19. From disinfecting treatment and waiting rooms to implementing strict use of personal protective equipment (PPE), our staff and patients’ safety and health is our primary concern.

Peace of Mind for Your Next Appointment

Safety Equipment in OrthodonticsBefore the COVID-19 pandemic, we followed strict universal precautions for your health and safety and continue to do so. These include:

  • Masks
  • Gloves
  • Glasses
  • Sterile devices and instruments
  • Clean and disinfected surfaces

Areas that are often touched, such as door handles, deck, chairs, and bathrooms, are frequently cleaned and disinfected. We have also limited our waiting area’s capacity and have removed difficult to clean objects such as magazines from the waiting area to keep it clean.

What to Do When You Arrive for Your Appointment:

When you arrive at your appointment, please check-in at the front desk. If you feel more comfortable, you are welcome to wait in your vehicle, and our team will give you a call when we are ready to see you. All patients and guardians will be screened for symptoms, and we ask that if you are experiencing symptoms or feel ill to please remain home. Face coverings are required for your appointment, and only one guardian per minor patient will be permitted.
